Ok, now here come the tears again ๐ญ๐ I think maybe I have some pent up emotion that needs dealing with ๐ค๐
Thank you so much Laura for this truly wonderful journey through the story of one beautiful Bakery that held so much joy, laughter, passion, connection, love and... LIFE ๐งก Hugely touching and extremely inspiring ๐ฅฐ
I am so touched that it touched you, Eva. I think we often find ourselves in each other's stories, and isn't that so beautiful? Thank you for staying with me all the way on this one.
Laura, What a wonderful experience listening to Once Upon a Bakery. I cried, I laughed, I remembered!!! I loved our time on the 4th Block, I loved your bakery, I loved you, Bill and the kids. My one memory and Aha that I share over and over is: T was speaking both French and English. She showed me her beautiful new blue suede shoes and the way she said it in french was priceless. I asked her to say " my blue suede shoes in french" She said " my blue suede shoes in french" I laughed so hard, well not in front of her. I realized that she expressed herself and had no idea between french and english, she was probably 3 or 4, she just spoke.
Thank you for the THREE wonderful cakes, because I could not make up my mind) for our wedding reception. Thank you for being a part of history that we share. You did an marvelous job at telling the story. Is there a way I can have these to listen to again and again???
Diane, thank you for now and thank you for then. What a great little vignette you add. It was a big chapter of our lives. I remember Dan coming in after dropping Chelsea off at Kindergarten the first time. He was teary eyed and I fed him a croissant or god knows what.
And the story stays on Spotify so you can listen whenever you want to.
Eventually I will do something else with it but for now there IT IS!
