Thank you, Laura. Good to hear your voice. I know you said, you moved with Lila and stayed in a cabin, but how was that process? What all did you have to do to make that transition from the US to Mexico to start with?

Hi Vonnie! Good to read your words :)

Well, I first went for 12 days. I had just hosted a Retreat in La Manzanilla, gotten back to WA, and felt that I needed more Mexico, but somewhere else. My son had been to this village and recommended it to me. He said: just book a flight, get off the plane, and get on the bus. Then spend time there. So I booked an Airbnb and went. And fell in love. Decided to go back ASAP. Then COVID. So I started planning for a few months ahead. Found a cabin on Airbnb, got on the plane with Lila, planning to try it out for 4 months or so. After 3 months I knew there was no turning back so I extended my lease and started to really get settled. Eventually, I bought a little piece of land and plopped a house on it.
